Dear shrimp-like soon-to-be-baby,

We just left week 5 behind. Wow. It’s funny how fast time flies, and how slowly it crawls by while waiting for you to grow. Last week was a little bit strange for me. I went to the doctor to confirm that I was pregnant, which I still was, and so I got another appointment to talk to a doctor the next day. She was a bit in a hurry, so I forgot half of what I was supposed to ask about, but she gave me books and pamphlets to read, so I’m keeping up on what to expect. Your grandmother-to-be is super thrilled and bought me a book about pregnancy. I must say I’m awaiting eagerly for my belly to grow and really feel that you’re in there.

I’ve felt super tired last week. After getting home from work, I’ve just fallen asleep on the couch, and I think I’ve slept about 11 hours each day the last week. And I’m peeing like there’s no tomorrow. Hope you’re happy!

At least I’m not that nauseous (knock on wood), only felt a bit unwell a couple of times until now.

Hold on in there, only 238 days to go!
