Week #28: It’s (really) a girl!
We wanted to do a new ultrasound to get an image of the little baby, and to really know the sex. Yes, we’re curious like that. So we went to an ultrasound in week 28 cause that’s supposed to be the best week for a picture of the face before the baby gets too big. Since both the other two ultrasounds were a bit disappointing with not knowing the sex and all in all bad pictures (the midwife even let us have the pictures for free cause they were “not that good”), we knew that this was our last chance before the birth.
The first thing that popped up on the screen was the sex. Why? She had her left foot and both her arms in her face. So the good news was that there was no doubt that she’s a girl. The bad news was that a foot and two arms in the face makes horrible sonograms of, yes, the face. So we struggled for about 20 minutes to get at least one good shot of the little darling. But it was so worth it! She looks adorable! I mean, yes, what did you expect from a mom? But seriously? ADORABLE!
Hello there, little angel.

Oh, and the due date was set back to Dec 24th. Just my luck.
