Pregnancy things people never talk about #9: Acid refluxes and heartburns
You may or may not regurgitate in your sleep. I mean, not in your sleep, you’ll wake up just half a second before the contents of your stomach reaches your mouth. Cause seriously, you could choke on your own gastric acids, and that’s not something you’d want.
I’m suffering from heartburns quite often nowadays. I guess it’s the lack of space that’s causing it, and I’m not very happy about it. If I wanna eat something, I need to go pee just to get a little room in my stomach.

I think that was the best thing to get over – the heart burn. Are you able to have Tums? that’s the only thing I can suggest – drinking milk or eating yogurt made my reflux MUCH worse.
I had heartburn for two days, in week 26 and 27, and then every now and then from week 32-ish. It’s horrible! I got something for it in Portugal, and it helps a little, but I try not to use it even though they said it was completely harmless.
My problem is that I crave dairy products, so I eat lots of yoghurts, milk (with probiotics), cheese and ice cream. And you’re right it doesn’t help at all.
