Tomorrow is the day that I’m gonna leave Aurora at the clinic and while I’m at a seminar, Lise, from the farm where she’s gonna have her puppies, is gonna come and pick her up. I’m wondering how I’m gonna survive without her, especially when I know she wants us around more than ever now. I hope she’s gonna be fine, she’s arriving with her sister, and five of her siblings are at that farm when she gets there. But still.

We took an X-ray of her abdomen to count her babies Tuesday. We saw 7 heads, but 8 spines, so there must be a head somewhere behind all her intestines.

Lise said her litter usually had their puppies on day 60 or 61 in their pregnancies, which means she could have hers on Thursday or that Friday we’re coming to see her
